Paper Flower Workshops
Our workshops are designed to teach you everything you need to know to craft your own beautiful paper flower or bouquet that can stay with you or a loved one, for a lifetime. We'll instruct you on the art of paper flower making, you'll develop the skills necessary to craft realistic and delicate blossoms.
You can either choose from one of our upcoming hosted craft workshops or get in touch and we can design a tailored programme that align with your event outcomes; from group interaction, to fun and relaxation, product or brand visibility and exposure.
Festive Paper Floral Workshop - Old Spitalfields Market
Get ready for the festive season with a paper Mistletoe and Poinsettia Workshop with paper craft Pom Pom Factory.
Book into this hands-on workshop where Karen will guide you through the process of creating Christmas botanicals and florals using Italian crepe paper and wires. You can take home your very own super sustainable Christmas decoration.
In this class:
– You will learn the basic skills of sculpting with crepe paper.
– Make a small mistletoe or poinsettia bunch or both if there is time.
– All equipment provided.
– Each session will cost £20pp and will be 45 minutes long
Family Paper Flower Making at Compton Verney
Sat 3 December, 10.35am – 4.30pm
Inspired by our Dutch Flowers exhibition, come and indulge your creative spirit in this free, family-focused workshop with Karen Hsu – East-London paper florist and owner of the Pom Pom Factory.
Using 100% biodegradable and recycled tissue paper, Karen will guide you through the basics of making the perfect paper flower that you will be able to take home and cherish.
The workshop will take place in the Dutch Flowers exhibition on the first floor. It is split into small sessions, each will last approximately 30 minutes. Sessions are as follows:

Festive Botanicals Workshop at Compton Verney
Sun 4 December, 10.30am – 1.30pm
Inspired by our Dutch Flowers exhibition, come and learn how to create an everlasting decorative display for the festive season on this botanical paper workshop with Karen Hsu – East-London paper florist and owner of the Pom Pom Factory. She will then demonstrate the different ways in which you can use your handmade paper creations, choosing whether to string them up as part of a statement floral arrangement or arrange them as a festive table runner display.
Using 100% biodegradable and recycled tissue paper, Karen will guide you through the process of creating a range of festive-inspired botanicals, crafted from fine Italian crepe paper and wire.
In this class, you will learn all the basic skills of sculpting with crepe paper and will be able to continue the craft as a fun activity at home with friends and family.
£65 per person
Includes entry all materials, admission to the grounds, collections and exhibitions. Festive refreshments will also be provided.
