Karen Hsu is the founder and creative director of Pom Pom Factory. Born in Hong Kong and educated at Central Saint Martins, Karen began with a simple craft: making pom pom flowers from paper. What began as a childhood hobby turned into a passion for creating beautiful things from humble materials. Now, under her guidance, Pom Pom Factory has grown from making individual paper flowers to crafting large-scale installations that showcase all kinds of paper flower varieties. 

Making these paper flowers it’s a relaxing and thoughtful experience. The repetitive steps of folding, cutting, and shaping paper give us time to think and be creative. Sometimes, it feels like our hands are part of a production line, blending natural inspiration with human skill.
